Cast bronze, electronic prototyping components, children’s toy with spinning motor, music, and flashing lights. Made in Rome at RISD’s European Honors Program during Spring 2015. Third and final piece in the series of “Functionality in Wearable Tech.” La Bocca della Verita spins on a motor, and music plays from the mouth of the reduced, emoji interpretation of it. LEDs flash from the mouth of the sun motif. Buttons, LEDs, and resistors have been linked for the necklace chain.
